PE & Sport Premium

The government provides funding for primary schools to develop PE and sport provision.  This ring-fenced funding has been allocated for 2013-14, 2014-15 and 2015-16.

As a school we receive £8000 plus £5 per pupil.

The funding is used to have a direct impact on the quality of teaching and learning in PE lessons and is used for:

    Specialised professional development opportunities for staff.
    Teachers working alongside specialist PE teachers and coaches.
    Purchasing resources and training courses for Teachers.
    Developing the leadership of PE across the school.

    Membership of a competitions and development cluster of schools.
    Staff professional development courses.
    Staff professional opportunities to team teach with PE specialists.
    High quality PE resources.
    Release time for PE leader.
